They're both very good. Christina Aguilera definitely has a stronger, more powerful voice, but Mariah Carey is one of the few commercial singers that can go into the whistle register. Both have strong voices, but Christina makes much more use of it, while MC tends to try to sing like her less talented counterparts despite her vocal abilties. Because of that, Christina is definitely better.

In Mariah's earlier days she was great. Vision of Love, Hero, Anytime u need a Friend are some examples. Her recent albums have not showcase her voice as before. But knowing her capabilities, in my opinion she is much more skilled vocally than Christina. Christina's voice is clearer while Mariah's is breathy but that is just their different styles.

personally, i would have to say christina. she has a WAY more impressive vocal range than mariah and she has more flare. to prove my point, you should here "turn to you" by christina. there is a part when she just BLOWS OUT a wonderful line in the most incredible voice ive heard in a women singer. i dont have anything against mariah, its just i prefer christina better.

Im concerned for your age when your asking this question... your probably 12 and asking this seeminglly inocent question where the simple and always correct answer is Mariah... not only more talented but more accomplished, and more respectable than Chirstina plus she had a mental breakdown(Mariah) and is still considered to be one of the best ever, lol.. but I hear she is still trying to make waves in the music industry after how many years... come on

tough question both have very trained voices I like the tonality of mariah better but I know some people that know her and she is really a B***** I have heard some diva things about Christina also but not nearly what i have about Mariah C. I like Christinas voice but it always sounds strained and each song sounds the same to me.
