Because Americans aren't a patient people and they are used to seeing sporting events end with at least 20 - 200 points between each team - not scores like 1-1 , 2-2 , etc.

this is because americans are used to high scoring games. like basketball and football. the scores are usually 20-120. there is almost constant scoring. while in soccer, it takes a while to score and sometimes not at all.

because most americans cant see talent when its right in front of them they watch american football and watch fat guys run into each other or base ball and watch guys stand around and throw a ball every once in a while

well what i can say that if you gotten ride of American Football then things would be differnt but right now amrican football is the hit in the lovely contury of ours!
