I am so used to using the mesh sort of bathing suits and I bought a new bathingsuit that doesn't have the mesh, how exactly am I supposed to you it, with underwear underneath? I use briefs not boxers lol, any advice?

haven't seen those. there are a lot of shorts that are made of the same material as swim suits...guess it wouldn't matter. Go with (or without) whatever you are comfortable with.

good question! I dont know how people uses that mess crap anyway...it always rubs against my "cash n prizes" and makes it sore....maybe thats why they make them without it.....i have used a pair of briefs under mine even though i am a boxer guy as well...you can find some boxers that will match the color of the bathing suit and wear them underneath but it can be a little awkward....i would go with some briefs...you will get used to them....they fell like the mesh but more comfortable....good luck!

In My day the 60's, some suits were reversible and therefore had no liner. With these we wore a jock strap for support and modesty.

I always cut out the mesh and 'free-ball' cuz the mesh is so annoying.
If its white or a light color, first get it wet at home and stand i/f/o a mirror. If you can only see thru partially, make up your own mind.
Personally, a hint of beef-cake and a hint of love-muscle is HOT!

yeah, wear underwear w/ it. i guess the ones w/ the mesh are supposed to take the place of underwear.
oh yeah, it probably doesnt matter what kind of underwear(boxers, briefs, thong, dont matter)

My husband bought swim shorts like this, with no liner. I was insisting that these were not for swimming because they did not have a liner. Well I turned out to be right when we were at our daughter's swim class and he got out of the water with a shrink-wrapped "package". You could see everything. I think these shorts are meant for beach, but not swimming. Get a pair with the liner.......

uh oh...the boys will dangle. definitely wear underwear. Nothing more traumatizing to little kids especially girls, than to spot a stray nut or two.

i have a lot of board shorts...swimtrunks without the lining. i don't wear anything under them and it's perfectly fine. i don't wear anything under anything else though either...going commando is much better!
