my friend is 8 and she has had some white thing instead of a period. she has had it for almost a year.?

it's just discharge. it's normal. she's just getting her period soon. if it gets too heavy, though, she needs to make sure her mother knows cause then it just might be an infection.

If your friend has any sort of discharge, maybe she has been sexually active, and at 8 years old, probably against her wishes. I hope you understand what I am saying!
