Does pink look good on you in general? If it doesn't, then don't go for pink shadows.
You could also go to a department store and get your makeup done. I know many of them are willing to do your makeup, especially if it's slow and during the week. I usually get mine done if there is gift w/ purchase and I need something (Estee Lauder has a lipstick color I love and it's the only "expensive" item I buy...most of my makeup is Avon, some Mac tints I got online, Maybelline, CoverGirl and Boots brand (sold at most Targets and they let you sample items).

Their shadows are fairly good quality. I haven't used this set, because even though I have hazel eyes, pink shadow looks really crappy on me.

I personally wouldnt. I went to a mary kay website and they have this virtual makeover where it will tell you how to apply make-up and plus give you the correct colors to go w/ your eye color, skin tone, and hair color!
Its awesome! It worked for me. I've gotten soo many compliments since I've switched!

if you are scared of using the ones for hazel eyes, maybe try the set for brown or green eyes..i think they have more purples and stuff which may look better....i used the ones for green eyes (my eyes are blueish green) and it enhanced the color
