I dont see anything wrong with the piercing itself, I think they're cute, but I've decided not to get one. It's a very nasty place to get an infection and I don't want to go through that again because I already had a horrible experience invovling a cartilage piercing getting infected. Once burnt twice shy, I guess. Just make sure you clean it out really good every day.

I had mine pierced since I was 15 it was pretty cool. But now that I am going to become a mom I am going to take it off.

If you are doing it just because everyone else has, well, no, it is passe. if you are doing it because of another reason, go for it. It will leave a scar and may get infected if not properly cared for.

It's a fad and when the fad is over you're left with a dumb little scar.
It's also a yucky place to get an infection.
