it is a 2001 camaro black and i just got it used

If it makes a noise like the starter is turning, but the engine won't turn over, you should have your starter tested.
If it clicks, you either have a bad battery connection or a toasted battery.

return it. could be alot of things from just a bad starter to a bad engine. if its just making a clicking noise when you jump it either the starter is bad or the battery is dead enough that it will take a big charge to jump it. if its not a clicking noise then good luck

well its probably the alternator or the starter. if i were you i would get rid of the camaro, i had a 88 RS and it was a money pit.
