Why dont Kentucky have a NBA team when their pretty good in College Ball.???

I suppose Louisville might be a good place to try, but Kentucky just doesn't have the support available for a team. Living in Cincinnati, I suppose I'm not surprised why they don't have a pro NBA team there. It just doesn't seem that basketball crazy there as it's pretty conservative.
I wish the NBA would actually scale back on teams a little...

probably becuz nobody will go watch the NBA there if u were a in place were basketball would be a great market u would definitely have an NBA franchise but its Kentucky come on u really think u ever gonna get at team i don't think nobody there except u likes basketball the NBA is all about the money and if nobody watches u wont get a franchise so move somewhere were they have a team come to LA LAKERS #1

The NBA needs to eliminate some team, not add more.
Seems like Kentucky loves their Wildcats (and Cardinals) too much to support a pro team (that would probably be lousy anyway).
Carolina is a great basketball area as well...how are the ol' Bobcats working out there?
College and NBA basketball are two totally, totally different animals!

A basketball crazy state like them should have one. They did have a team named the Kentucky Colonels in the old ABA.

A few thoughts...It's not a real big market to support a Pro fanchise. Its more of a college town and they go crazy over their team down there. Theu figure with King James only a few drving hours away would surfice. The King owns the mid west...
