I suggest ajeans with some nice trainers . A white shirt, also a nice blue or colourful blazer. It looks good and you give the impression that your formal but feel comfortable in what you are wearing.

Whatever you feel comfortable in. You don't have to dress the part to have a good time. Plus, he's the easygoing type, and so his fans probably follow suit, making it unlikely that they'll be mean about your attire. That being said, he's a beachy, party-going type, so go for shorts and a t-shirt I suppose.
