Not me, but hey there Patricia D, what world do you live in and more importantly how are things there in grade school? No most of us didn't get up this morning and eat a bowl of stupid. Most of us here are going by policies made over the last four years. Most of us here got up this morning and ate breakfast over another head line that talks about how pretty much the rest of the world hates us. Most of us got us this morning to eat our bowl of cereal and see another news story on TV about the first war in the history of the United States that we are funding by borrowing money. Most of us got up to eat our bowl of cereal and read yet one more quote from our commander in chief where he made all of America look like dumb asses for voting for him. As far as 9\11 goes I for one am one cereal eating person who is sick to death of hearing that as his one and only defense. Wondering while you were eating your big bowl of brilliance this morning if it dawned on you that the man that "supposedly" orchestrated 9\11 is still at large due to decisions made by your boy there. So Ms. Patricia D. Before you come on line and start throwing dirt in the middle of a discussion why don't you read a paper or two and come up with some better lines. Much Peace

To answer your question, I'd have to say I have no idea who here is in favor of President Bush.

And to the person who supports the office if not the person, how bad would a president have to be to make you rethink that policy?

Not me!

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security."

This is quoted from the American Declaration of Independence.

To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.
Theodore Roosevelt

Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind.
George Orwell

The government is merely a servant — merely a temporary servant; it cannot be its prerogative to determine what is right and what is wrong, and decide who is a patriot and who isn't. Its function is to obey orders, not originate them.
Mark Twain

Loyalty to the country always. Loyalty to the government when it deserves it.
Mark Twain

Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule--and both commonly succeed, and are right.
Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956)

To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
Thomas Jefferson

If a politician found he had cannibals among his constituents, he would promise them missionaries for dinner.
Henry Louis Mencken (1880-1956)

CAPITAL, n. The seat of misgovernment. That which provides the fire, the pot, the dinner, the table and the knife and fork for the anarchist; the part of the repast that himself supplies is the disgrace before meat.
Ambrose Bierce (1842-1914)

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
Edmund Burke 1729-1797

im in favor of no political candidate, im neutral on that, but i do know this:
1: Bush's campaign is a disaster, he messed up on alot of things during his 4 years as president
2: Even know i am for the war in Iraq, i still think it was a military disaster. Other than the fact that we DID help Iraq regain their freedom, their is now the relization of war with hesbollah, which lebannon and syria keep fending for. Their is more death their now then ever

He was elected President in a fair and legal election and is, quite frankly, a figurehead so to pin every decision and global move the United States had made on him is inaccurate. There's no proof Karey would have been any better a President - especially given his problems with an inconsistant platform. Nothing is perfect.

I like how people say "George Bush is stupid." Just because you don't agree with his policy dosen't make him stupid. The man is very educated and probably smarter then a lot of people. I'm not saying he is highly inteligent but he is a fairly inteligent man who has a good vision and sticks to his beliefs. He scored very high on a lot of tests. SATs and military, I don't know if thats a good indicator but as far as his economic vision, he understands the value of a free market. His foreign diplomacy may not be all handshakes but oh well, it dosen't have to be. The media does a lot to distort his image (Comedy Central especially)

He is my president, like it or not. I will support him until another comes along because I believe in supporting the office if not the person.
