my "mate" katie is annoying everyone.

she says she wants to have a night out round town clubbing and she will meet us at a certain time and place then she doesnt turn up. its nearly everytime now.

we have started ringing her up an hour before we meet to make sure she is still coming to meet us and she always says she will be there as she has a lift from her parents/taxi booked

why would she keep doing this how can we stop her doing this we have tryed standing her up but since she doesnt always turn up it doesnt work

If you are arranging the night out don't ask her to go. If she is arranging the night out tell her you are sorry you have already got something else lined up. She should then get the message that you are fed up being messed about.

stop hanging w/her during ur girls night out.. or if u really want to hang w/her---wait unitl she gets to the place and let her call u guys to see where u r and then u leave to meet her there.. but always have a back up plan if u know she's a constant no show.. don't allow her to ruin ur night. she doesn't have to be there u and the rest of ur friends to have a good time does she????

Really the best thing to do is be straight with her. Tell her that if she does not want to go out with you guys that is fine, but she needs to let you know. One reason being is if someone says they are going to be somewhere and they don't show up it can cause their friends to worry. So the best thing to do is just talk to her. You could also tell her that you guys are not going to wait around on her anymore. If she is not there when everyone arrives then just go on with your plans. It is her loss not yours.

How irritating. Hope you still have a good time without her.

Do the same thing to her. Organise something that you know she'll turn up to - and none of the rest of you bother showing.

If she was really interested she'd be there. Are you sure she's really able to come out or is just saying she can..sounds odd set up to me!!
Is she going somewhere else and using you as a cover??

She is obviously unreliable, so why dont you & your other friends meet, but don't tell her. Then when she finds out you all went without her, she will feel hurt & will want to know why you discluded her.....Explain why......Maybe then she will get the message. You have to be cruel to be kind

To be honest I would stop asking her to come out with you. A few weeks of deffing her out might make her see sense and stop treating you like doormats.

Dont ask her to come out anymore. If she cant be bothered showing up then why should you be bothered to invite her!

I'd take the hint, she doesn't want to go out with you, so stop inviting her
