I don't see why not--I have used cross stitch patterns in knitting. I love to experiment! Have fun!

I would imagine it would work to use a cross stitch pattern for latch hooking, but I would try to search for patterns that use mostly cross stitch and not backstitch or other types of needlework as the design may not come out as defined with latch hooking.

my mother does all kinds of sewing,cross stitching,needle point and others. she uses all kinds of patterns for each.she has even made her own on ocasion.yes its possible to a cross stitch patern for a latch hook rug.just try simple paterns first till you get comfortable at it. you can also go to your local craft store and check out the crafting magazines. theyalways have sugestions on doing things like that in them. I would try Michaels crafts first if there is one in you local.

Yes, as the other posted stated, select a chart that only has Full X stitchs or blocks. Or redraw or import on pc and update the chart for a full blocks/stitches.
