Wipe the phone off with alcohol wipes. My boss does that sometimes when he uses my phone, but it's not a bad smell. You can tell him that your boyfriend/husband/sig. other things that you're cheating on him because you smell like another dude.

You have your own office, and you can smell the cologne from a phone outside of that office? If so, it is definitely too strong, and you should politely ask him to tone it down. Now I finally understand why some men always complain about women's purfumes.

Why don't you put on some strong smelling perfume and get him back or confront him about his cologne and ask him to tone it down some!

I sincerely hope this is the worst problem you encounter this entire year.
It shows quite clearly that humans expand the size of their problems to fill the space allotted.
Or maybe this is a euphamism for real problems you may have; I suggest getting 'in touch' with yourself a little more so that you can vent on more serious issues.

lol ..... Tell him cologne isn't for the workplace. It's for dates ..... In his case, cheap dates. Or, you could go out and find some cologne you REALLY like, and anonymously put it on his desk with a note: Switch. You stink.

use bleach to clean--bleach is much more pleasant than nauseating cologne/perfume
