My sister is ruining her relationship with her boyfriend of 3 years. They've had problems on and off. Honestly, she's lucky that he lvoes her as much as he does. She's very bitchy and sometimes I wonder why he doesn't stick up for himself, but that's his peragotive. Anyway, just recently she met a guy at work. The kid is super troubled. He's 3 years younger than her, his mom is nuts, he's irresponsible, and definately not relationship material. My sister is totally falling for him. She's making up problems in her relationship with her b/f to distance herself from him. She's still with her b/f, but is ALWAYS hanging out with this other kid (alone). I've tried to talk to her about it, but she just gets defensive. She has to know this is wrong. I just don't know what to do. I care about her and her b/f (he's been a friend for 13 years.) I know it's not my business, but I really care about them. And what she's doing is goinna blow it or the both of them. How do I make her realize?

I don't know how "care" turns into "desperately in love," but I'm pretty sure if I was, I'd be all over them breaking up. I don't want her to make the mistake of losing the only person who puts up with her s***.

Sometimes people have to make the mistakes themselves in order to realize. Unfortunately they hurt people and loose things along the way. I see you are trying to be preventative but you may end up in an I told you so moment with her since she doesn't want to listen.

Good luck!

your sister really needs to make her own mistakes and learn from them. my sister is the same way, she has the worst taste in guys, and she always goes for the bad boy types. but she finally learned. some ppl like your sister just go through a really bad dating stage. its best not to interfere and if things go down hill for her and her bf just be there for your friend and sister. and honestly, theres nothin u can do to help your sister. if u keep "bothering" her youll just end up pushing her away. dont worry things will work out, and she'll eventually learn.

There is not one thing you can do. The more you push or talk to her the more she is going to go the other way! It's her life let her lead it the way she wants to. All you can do is give her loving and caring support in any choice she makes whether its good or bad.

You are so in love with her BF that it is disgustingl

That said, let her figure it out for herself. If someone I loved used the word "make" about me... I would totally kick it off in their a$$

tell her how u feel and then let her figure it out on her own. i know she's ur sister and u love her but there's nothing else u can do becaue she prolly wont listen to u. but i would tell her and then just let her do what she's gonna do.
