At first I thought it was inevitable that Harry dies, especially with all the hints that have been leaking out, but now I really believe that it is all a marketing stunt by Rowling to build up a buzz about the book/movie and people will be shocked to learn that Harry will not die. I also do not believe that Dumbledore is dead either. I think that it is very Lord of the Ringsesque and that it Dumbledore is pretending to be dead in order to lure Voldemort out. It was stated in one of the previous books that "as long as Dumbledore is here, you cannot be touched." That makes me believe that it was a ploy all along.

Harry can never be a horcrux as its obviously evident that Voldemort wanted to kill Harry cos of the prophecy . The prophecy that either neville or harry will be his end. But Voldemort tried to kill Harry and he accidentally selected Harry as his end of time. A horcux is made with high magical powers and it involves time. And i guess most of the Harry Potter fans know that at no point Voldemort has prisoned Harry Potter except for Goblet of Fire series.
As for Dumbledore, i presume he is not dead. This was a cover up done to bring Voldemort entirely into the scene.
Lets wait and watch what happens.... guess J K Rowling doesnt disappoint our long wait for the book.

if harry is a horcrux then he will have to die coz voldemort has to die for the books to end.neville can not be a teacher ever.hasnt got the ability and if he does he is hiding them very well.dumbledore is dead.jk rowling has confirmed that few days ago in a show i think.n i think snape is on the good side and was just following dumbledore's orders.because he wanted snape to be alive as they would have needed a spy on voldemort's side.snape is the only one who can do that job.

dumbledore aint dead, he faked it
he even says that he can fake malfoy's death for him while they're on the tower if he comes to their side.
In book 5 harry tries to do cruciatus curse on bellatrix, but he doesn't really mean it so she's just KNOCKED BACKWARDS. So, snape could have done the same, if the curse had worked, why would dumbledore have flown off the tower?
Lastly, during the funeral when the flames pop up and make the white tomb, it says that in one heartstopping moment, it looked like a phoenix leapt up and joined the flames. Guess what, phoenixes can apperate in and outside of Hogwarts(demonstrated when harry was in the chamber of secrets)
also i do think harry is a horcux because:
voldy's soul was already split from killing the parents and then the killing curse backfired(which would knock the pieces of his soul out of his body) a piece could have gone into Harry.
It would also explain why Harry has some Voldemort charictaristics and the connection in book Five(not only to the piece in voldemort's body, but to the piece that's supposedly in Nagini) Before we even knew what a horcrux was, j.k.r. put it into book 2 when harry says,"so voldemort put a piece of himself into me?"
I give this WAAYYYYY too much thought

My theories and stuff we know about book 7:
If you go onto the UK Patent Office Website and type in Harry Potter, you will get a lot of titles which were registered in 2003 by J.K. Rowling so that she would always have the rights to them; for books, movies, websites, etc. However, so the titles were not so obvious to guess, she also registered fake titles to throw people off. Since 2003, 15 of these titles have been rejected, and only three remain. They are:
Harry Potter and the Alchemist's Cell
Harry Potter and the Chariots of Light
Harry Potter and the Pyramids of Furmat (Has been debunked on JKR's website though)
Personally, I really do hope that it isn't any of these. I hope JKR surprises us with something better.
I heard this on MuggleCast #45, but remember that no one knows for sure, and that it is only a rumor. A real title has not been released from J.K. Rowling herself, and there is a very little chance that any of us could guess the correct title.
It has been rumored that book seven will be released on July 7, 2007 (07.07.07), because seven is a powerfully magical number in the series. I think that would be incredible if it were, but it is unlikely because of the release date of the fifth Harry Potter movie. It is set for July 13, 2007. I don't see the book and the movie being released so close together. There would be a fight for publicity.
Bloomsbury co-founder Liz Calder (who publishes the British versions of the Potter books), recently said in an interview, "The next Harry Potter book is likely to come out in 2007. I hope so."
I also think it's safe to say that the book will release sometime in the summer. I think that Scholastic and Bloomsbury will make sure that kids will have enough time to devour the book. If it was during the school year, there might be some problems.
As much as I don't like it, I think it is totally possible that J.K. Rowling might kill off Harry. If you remember the article, she said that there is a good side to killing off your main character. When she is dead and gone, no one will be able to come back and write Harry because he already died; it would be satisfactory to know that no one will come back and take over you masterpiece.
Here is a list of people besides Harry that I think might perish.
Ron: Besides being Harry's best mate, we haven't really seen him prove himself in times of danger and battle. He showed his strengths back in Book 1 when during the giant chess match during the hunt for the Philosopher's Stone. There is a theory that Ron will sacrifice himself for Harry in the final match against Voldemort.
Pettigrew: Do I have to explain it? Let's see... He betrayed the Potters, he helped Voldemort get his body back, and is an all-around bad guy. I think it's time to go, and that the life-debt that he has to Harry will be involved somehow.
Draco: I think that apart from being "bad", Draco is really a tragic character. His family are Death Eaters. He's got a lot to live up to. I got the kind of feeling that he was forced in the Book 6 to serve Voldemort. All the stress he underwent, the frustration, the anxiety... I mean, the poor boy was misguided. Remember that he is only about 17. People can make horrible mistakes when they are at that age. Unfortunately in Draco's case, it might cost him his life. He's in too deep.
Professor Trelawney: I think there is a possibility of her death in Book 7. She's always predicting how people will die, and seeing strange, dark omens everywhere. I think that is a kind of subtle foreshadowing. She sees death everywhere, why can't it be hers? I just wonder how this would play out, and how important it would be to the actual plot.
Percy: Hmm... Anyone sure which side he is really on?
Who will get a reprieve? (JKR said in a very recent interview that she gave a certain character a reprieve from dying) I have an inkling that it is one of the Dursleys.... or Snape.
R.A.B: I think that R.A.B. is Sirius' late brother, Regulus Black. He was once a Death Eater, a supporter of Voldemort, but was killed shortly after joining because he wanted out. I think that before his death, he stole the real locket Horcrux, tried to destroy it, but ended up at his childhood home, Number 12, Grimmauld Place. There is evidence of this in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. On page 116 of the American Edition, "a heavy locket that none of them could open" is mentioned. Now that Harry owns Grimmauld Place, I believe that he will discover it the next time he goes there. Here is what J.K. Rowling had to say about R.A.B. in an interview with Melissa Anelli and Emerson Spartz:
MA: R.A.B.
JKR: Ohhh, good.
[All laugh.]
JKR: No, I'm glad! Yes?
MA: Can we figure out who he is, from what we know so far?
[Note: JKR has adopted slightly evil look here]
JKR: Do you have a theory?
MA: We've come up with Regulus Black.
JKR: Have you now?
MA: Uh-oh.
[Laughter.]
JKR: Well, I think that would be, um, a fine guess.
Also, a couple of days ago, J.K. Rowling said in New York that Dumbledore is definetly dead, and she made specific references to dumbledoreisnotdead.com. Read the story here:

Rowling has admitted in several interviews that 2 main characters will die in the 7th book. Sad, I know. I really don't want it to be Harry, Ron, or Hermione...but sadly I think Harry will die. I'm preparing myself for it now.

I've never believed Snape to be a bad guy. I banking on him being more of a hero in book 7.
I think Dumbledore asked Snape to kill him, because it unleashes a much more protective magic for Harry.
