The ownership will make another serious push very soon, but here's the thing...
The Red Sox currently have quite a bit of young talent under their control for years to come and some veterans to help them through the transition. While I still think the Sox have a good shot this year (yes even though the yankees are in 1st now... there's still a lot of baseball left). If they Sox can get through the next few years and still have the young talent, they'll be fine... Think of this a bit....
SP's - Beckett, Lester, Edgar Martinez, David Pauley, Kason Gabbard, Phil Siebel.
RP's - Delcarmen, Papelbon, Hansen, Van Buren, Papelbon (Josh... 13.3 IP, 0 ER).
C - Varitek for a few more years
1B - Youkilis, still under Sox control for a while, look for an extension coming soon too. Jeff Bailey is doing fine in AAA also.
2B - Dustin Pedroia, one of the top infield prospects in baseball
SS - Well, we're looking here....
3B - See ^^
OF - Jacoby Ellsbury - Could be a gold glover in the AL today. David Murphy - Great prospect, Trot Nixonesque. Ron Calloway - Could make a decent Major Leaguer. Adam Stern - Has already shown his potential in WBC. Coco Crisp - Still young and loaded with speed and potential. Willy Mo Pena - A future HR champion in the making.
Oh, and Warren1515... It's ciao, not chow...

I would not blame the ownership at all. The point is that in order to have made a trade to get some pitching before the trading deadline, the Sox would have had to give up some very talented prospects, many pitchers themselves. That would not bode well for the future. Looking ahead is not a bad thing. Also, the Sox are still in the race to win their division and the World Series. Let's not forget that. PLEASE don't act like a Yankees' fan and want to buy a pennant so they can boast again.
Chow!!

You're defenitely right about that. The sox would have made some trades for pitching at the deadline if the ownership was really serious about winning this year.

properly, in accordance to lower back To the destiny 2 the Cubbies are not going to win the sequence for yet another 7 years (2015) and that they're going to triumph over the Miami Sharks in 5 video games. If that occurs, Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis must be questioned concerning to the end results of many greater donning activities to come again.
