I see a lot of arguments from some people who are very into politics and they swear up and down that Clinton knew that Osama Bin Laden was planning an attack on the US. If this is true, then wouldn't there be no excuse as for why Bush didn't know. And then if he did know and Clinton knew, why did neither do anything about it. Try to keep the insults about the political party you oppose to a minimum please.

Clinton knew Al Queda had plans against the US, but not what, when, or where. He didn't fully inform Bush about his knowledge, and when asked about it, he said something like "that memo must have been lost... but that's neither here nor their, Bush did know that Bin Laden was a threat. I've yet to here any credible reports about Bush having the opportunity to dispose of Bin Laden, but I have heard reports about two incidences where Clinton did have the chance, and didn't take them. You might read "Dereliction of Duty" by Buzz Aldridge, he clearly cites one instance. Clinton also cut back funding and freedom for the CIA after Bush Sr left office hampering intelligence, which has led to some of the problems in intel we've had for the last 6 years. I'm certainly not saying there weren't things Bush could have done better, and I'm not saying that 9/11 wouldn't have happened if Clinton had been a better president. It's all hindsight guessing games now.

I do not know if u know that Osama ben laden is an ex CIA agent which means that Ben laden was created by US gov. to be used by US gov. for US or Israeli interests .i can't understand how a lot of Americans would object if u oppose what israel is now doing in Lebanon and Palestin as if they consider that US and israel are the same entity!! i think that one party is using the other and these 2 countries can never be one entity(it is only that "NOW" they have common intersts- this might not last for long!!)
what i'm sure about is that Ben laden does not have the capacity to do the attacks of 9/11. i'm not defending him, i detest him but Ben laden can not do it unless if he was getting support from the gov. or from someone else. Now, who is that someone else? i think we all know that aroud 6 000 jews employees who work in the world trade center did not show up that day !!!!!( that is very critical) so should i think that Ben laden likes jews and he warned them ( i do not think so)- let's say that israel knew about this attack why did not they warn the US gov. since they are one entity! I think that these attacks were made to get the support of the American community for a long term goal that the US want to realize in te middleast. I do'nt think that this goal appeared until now but i think that now this goal is starting to appear .... Bush and Rice are talking now about the new Middlleast, nobody knows what is this new middleast yet but the picture will be clear within the few month .
MY conclusion is that the 9/11 attacks were caused by US or/and Israel to get the support from the American good people to realize some goals that the Americans people would not accept unless they lost a big loss such as the 9/11 one. Ben laden is a bastard who would sell his soul to whom ever pay more!! Us and Israel are on the same side only for today, American people do not support killing innocent people, therefore they do not support what is happing now In Iraq, Lebanon or Palestine ! American people are being deceived by a biased media who is presenting 1/2 of the truth.

it wasn't only Osama's plan. there are some government officials that knew all about it and were in fact a part of it. the Government used AlQaeda in order to act on a plan they had for at least 4 years which is the project that the pentagon came up with in 1997 ( rebuilding America's defense)

Marvin Bush
Donald Ramsfeld.
those are the ones who are responsible for 9/11 WTC and Pentagon Attacks.
the project needed a catastrophic attack on american soil just like pearl harbor in order to go forward with it.

He was considered a threat during the Clinton administration and on the most wanted list , but I don't believe either President knew about 9/11.
