contacts or glasses? I've been wearing glasses sense I was 8 and I want to know if I should switch.

I wore one or the other since I was 7----I got laser surgery done & LOVE the results!!!!
Now, if I'm in the mood to have a different look, I can always just go get a pair of reading glasses in whatever style suits me @ the moment! LOL!
Don't know how old you are, or if that surgery is an option for you....
BUT!!!!----please----if you do choose to get contacts, please be sure to follow the care instructions.(I'm a nurse, & I've seen SO many people w/ serious eye infections, many of whom got it from bad contact hygiene.)

I wore contacts once and I'll never wear them again. They're much more of a hassle then glasses will ever be to you. But some people look alot better without glasses (I personally look 1000% better in glasses).
You can always try it out for awhile, and see how you like them. You can always keep your glasses while you wear contacts, and if they bother you, just throw on your glasses :)

Contact will change your look, if that what you are going for. Even if you get contacts you will still have a need for your glasses to let your eyes "breath"
I happen to think glasses are sexy...don't ask me why. The "nerdier" the better. I've always wished I needed to wear glasses.

i look *SO* much better w/ contacts..... some people look better w/ glasses.. funny huh? problem is, i wore contacts since i was 13, and now that i'm 26, if i wear it daily, my eyes feel really tired and strained. make sure u have a good glasses back up, and wear contacts on special occasions.. in fact i had to go back to glasses cuz i developed an allergy to contacts!! :(.. i got some again just cuz i was a bridesmaid in april..... do whatever makes u feel beautiful.. i feel much more confident and pretty w/ my contacts. but you always have option of both!!

All of my friends who wear correctional lenses love their contacts more than their glasses. You should keep a pair of glasses just in case though.

it's your choice; my mom also has been wearing glasses for a long time but she wears contacts when she goes out; she says there sometimes useful but sometimes it would hurt her eyes and last for at least a week. you could always wear the contacts sometimes but wear your glasses, too.

try contacts. you can't go from wearing glasses 24/7 to contacts 24/7 just overnight. you have to adjust your eyes to contacts by wearing them a few hours a day, extending the time each day.

I wear glasses, and I love them. I have considered wearing contacts, but they take a lot of work, and are expensive. But, that is just my opinion, you should do whatever you think is best.

Definately give contacts a try, but you will need to give your eyes a rest sometimes so don't throw out your glasses.

trust me i have glasses for all my life and if my eyes werent that bad i would switch 2 contacts in a sec. so i would say contacts becasue everyone is prettyer with out glasses
