yes you can get a yeast infection from wearing a bathing suit too long. everyday make sure to wash yourself properly and have her do the same. remember you shouldn't be having sex for 7 days till after the treatment.Have her also eat some yogurt. Mono stat doesn't always cure it either because of the alcohol content in it. I would see a doctor or even call one explain the problem and see what they say. Try the mono stat(if doc says to go for it) take a break on sex for a week , wash properly and eat some yogurt. If they keep coming back you should seek a doctor immediately! It could be an underlying problem of diabetes, etc. also have her use tear free baby wash for soap as soaps can dry you out and irritate it worse and above all wear cotton panties so that area can breathe and make sure they are a little loose fitting and stay away from tight jeans for a week! hope this helps!!

I recommend that she try Stonyfield Farm yogurt. It has natural probiotics that help to prevent yeast infections from comming back. Also, there are pro-biotic suppliments that you can find in health stores. Cotton underware, off with wet bathing suites... and that should help. See a doctor too, to discuss other preventitive measures.

My OBGYN doctor told me that women get yeast infections from the man. That he either sweats too much or needs to perform better hygiene. Everyone thinks it's the woman's fault but that's not true. Take a shower before you have sex with your girlfriend see if that helps.
