I'm in the Chicago area and I am trying to find Candlewicking supplies... Simple, 100% cotton natural muslin fabric and 100% cotton natural candlewicking thread..
I looked online at some of the major craft/fabric stores in the area but there is nothing on line. I went to one of the stores the other day and the girl took me to the candle isle.
Does anyone know where I can find the right thread and maybe even if it's available in different colors...

eBay is always an option, as well -- looks like different colors of thread are available, and they seem to have an eBay store.

And there's another site at the end there with kits, many with candlewick embroidery.

Have fun!!

I know what it is, and I'm glad to see someone still does it. I think ebay does have some candlewicking items. The salesgirl taking you to the candle aisle--too funny! Have fun.
