I think John Carpenter's movie "The Thing" is one of the coolest movies ever, but was "the thing" actually a superhero *looks confused*

He's pretty cool.
I once bluffed a guy that I knew who were the top superheroes. But from the looks of lists here, I was close.
I said
1) Superman
2) Spiderman
3) Batman
4) Wolverine
5) The Thing
6) Storm

personally i love superman hes the best ... if Rock Lee qualifies as a superhero then i would choose him 2. The thing is just the thing :P like hes cool looking but hes not the best, hes to slow and he can't fly or do much of anything.

No way! There are so many more heroes that deserve this title....
Superman, The Green Lantern, Thor, The Flash, Nightcrawler, Gambit, Spiderman, Captain America, Archangel, Venom ... just my take on the situation.

thing is a very cool character .. and theres a lot to him that people often miss.
I'd check out the thing mini-series if you want really good thing reading .. and also the first august issue of Fantastic Four is really amazing .. it shows his true character ..

Dude's made up of rocks yet he had a hard time beating the Hulk who's made up of green skin. I don't know, doesn't sound that cool to me...

Spider-man's my fav. hero, and I like Sue the best in Fantastic Four, but the Thing always makes me laugh so yea, I like him.
