Depends who you fly with. At the moment, most charter airlines charge between £4 and £5 per kilo short haul, and £8 long haul.

My girlfriend recently returned to Bulgaria from UK and was charged £11.00 per kilo over. Also her hand luggage didnt fit into the new size cage/guide on the boarding gate and she had to dump the case and a load of her possessions. They show no mercy , be warned . Hope this helps.

Normally the around £5 it depends on the handling agents. As its summer they are now making sure that they charge everyone that is over unless its a special reason ie wheelchair, If from october it depends what mood they are in whether they charge you or not.
