God decided to separate boys from girls because Adam was lonely and wanted a companion so God created Eve so he could be happy.

Re-production so life could move on. Think of a place with all the same sex, there would be a lot of hostility. In all seriousness if you read the Bible you will understand God's intentions of mankind (if you are talking about a christain God, who is God)
