It is just the state tax that is free, the federal taxes are paid. If you live in GA, which is where I do and we are having a tax free weekend, then go onto the GA state website and it will list all that is exempt.

I'm not sure, and you are charged sales tax when you purchase online. The tax-free weekend is only in Texas, so I would imagine that if it is ordered from a Texas based company then maybe, but I doubt it. Save the tax and the shipping and head to the store!
