Rearing animals is the auillary activity of agriculture in india and it helps in the economic devpt of villagers.
1. Animals are used in agriculture for doing work like ploughing,threshing etc
2. It provides the household nutrition facility
3. By rearing animal the economic status of the farmers will increase because in addition to agriculture, farmers can also earn more money
4. Small and medium-sized land holdings are sustainable and economical
Even small sized medium sized land holdings are enough for economical benefit

Rural development in India have to be a integrated approach. Only agriculture will leave land barren in some time as fertility will go down at the same time only Animal rearing will again all land barren because over grazing. A balance between human consumption related crop and animal feeding crops will balance the agriculture cycle as rotation of crop will maintain fertility of the land at the same time Animal rearing will compensate for the lower cost of these crops.
There I would conclude that Animal rearing need to integrated part of rural development in India or any other countries.
