What if you have a period at school and you have a boy teacher and you have no pads or tampons?

He asked me to come to board in order to have an oral exam but I couldn't cos I was having really hard periods n my skirt was covered with blood. I couldn't tell this to him but my friends understood n they said I was ill.I got permission n went home during break time but boys laughed at me : (

Ask your female friends if they have any. Or ask him if you can pop out and speak to the school nurse or a female teacher. Just explain it is "womens problems". The average man is usually too embarassed to ask any more questions!!! At my school the female PE teachers were pretty good at dealing with this kind of thing and I think they kept a supply of pads and things.

Or if you have a locker you could make sure you always have a stash of sanitary products there (I always have some in my desk drawer at work - just in case!)

Don't forget male teachers are all grown ups and have wives, sisters or daughters of their own so they know we all get periods!!

First, I always have at least one extra pad in my locker, but if you don't ask your teacher to go to the nurse because of "girl stuff", or just ask to go to the bathroom and use a little toilet paper as a makeshift pad. And, you can always ask a friend who you know already gets their period if she has any extra pads.

Try the nurse's office. Most nurses have feminine products available just like Tylenol and aspirin.
If you don't feel comfortable asking him, walk up to him and quietly ask to be excused to the nurses office, but that you will be back before class is over. He should get the hint without you having to embarrass yourself explaining the whole situation. Men are more sensitive that you think.
