Typewriter contains no memory. In case anything might ever be traced, it would be MUCH harder to do on a typewriter. Many models of printer add a teeny, tiny little thing to every page it prints that the authorities can use to trace to the exact machine it came from. If by "word processor", you mean the old kind that are like digital typewriters, they probably don't have that. If by "word processor" you mean using a computer with software for documents, then you'd be risking what I mentioned above.
