I work as a cave biologist. In addition to all the mammals people love to mention there is also a fascinating community of invertebrates subsisting on the guano of bats and other "part-time" cave inverts. Some of these animals include several species of cave dwelling cricket, beetles including several genera of blind cave beetles, cave harvestmen (daddy long legs), spiders, flies, millipedes, pseudo-scorpions. In addition to these creatures you may also find salamanders and the occasional frog. Last summer I even saw a rattle snake that managed to make it's way into a tour cave.
