Don't worry, this is not an FBI sting... I promise.

We all do stupid things at different points of our life.

Shoplifting is relatively common. What have you shoplifted? How old were you? How did you feel after?

Once when I was 9 I stole some candy with my best friend and got busted.Afterwards I felt horrible, not just because I was busted but because I knew it was wrong to steal but I did it anyway.I only did it because my brother and sister was doing it and not getting caught, and that's a dumb reason to do it.I have never stolen since then and I never will.

When I was a kid (around 10 yr old), I got into a some sort of a kids gang due to peer pressure because they are the coolest kids in town. One of the "adventure" stuffs we did was shoplifting (though rich kids like us don't need to). Shoplifting is part of the initiation before you become a member. After a few months, I become an expert, and became the official trainor of the gang. Being one of the elder thereafter, I instituted some changes by giving any loot to the poor kids around. Never had I been caught.

I stayed in that place for 3 years and our family moved.

Now, I am 32, a university graduate, a Master's Degree holder, and works as consultant in Store Security and I know all the tricks. If you steal, you can't get away with me when I am around.

I have only stolen something once. It was a tube of lip gloss from target and I was probably 12 or 13. Stealing really scares me, plus I have had a home that was robbed, it amazed me how violated I felt after knowing that someone had been into my home to take my things.

I have a list:

chewing gum
chapstick
scrunchies
tank tops
2 school uniforms(seriously)
3 pairs of sneakers
a few pairs of jeans
up to $75 worth of groceries at one time
an order from Taco Bell
socks
keychains
something from Universal Studios
I can go on and on...

I stole these things at various ages.

When I was about 10, I used to go steal rolling papers from the grocery store. I thought that smoking the papers by themselves (with nothing rolled in them) would get me high. My friend had told me that his older brother had said, "It's the paper that gets you high, you only put pot inside if you wanna get addicted." My stupidity amazes me at times. While I was at it, I'd usually steal candy too. Oh, and one time I stole a lemon.

I was 12 and my cousin was 13. We went to K-Mart with my mom. Me and my cousin decided to go look at makeup. I am grabbing things to ask my mom for and I look over....she is stuffing things down her pants. I notice that we are being followed a few moments later. I told her and she said that I was bugging. We started looking for my mom and she is opening thing. I told her that there was a lady following us and she said she didn't see anyone that I was being paranoid. She then tuck some lipstick in my pants.

Well the lady that was indeed following us was from security. She asked who we were there with and I had to call my mom over the PA. They didn't frisk me because she said she didn't see me take anything that it was just my cousin. My mom wanted to kill us.

My cousin had to go to court and was put on probation, and she never left the store with anything. I on the other hand left the store with lipstick in my pants and got away with it.

I thought that it was funny because she stuck the lipstick in there and I got to keep it. I was still grounded and couldn't play with my cousin for two months. All in all I didn't feel bad though. But I would never try to steal anything myself. I am truly paranoid.

At my first job (in a grocery store) I didn't get paid that much money, and barely could pay my rent....I use to steal little Dinty Moore cups and eat them at home for dinner. I was nervous, and felt bad afterwards, but at least I wasn't hungry anymore.

Oh, I was like 16...
