Trust me, you have nothing to worry about. I got mine off a while ago, and nothing hurts. You don't even feel a thing. The only part I didn't like was when they were scrapping my teeth, but it wasn't even that bad. Trust me, you will love them when they are off. =]

The dentist would usually tie a winch type thing to a large truck, but only if you pay the extra money...
The orthodontist, however, has special ways of taking the braces off that are much less painful.
Dentists don't do braces, orthodontists do...

My sister got hers off about a month ago and I don't get mine off utntil fall. But they have this tool and the clip the brackets off of your teeth. That doesn't hurt but it could scare your because of the little bit of pressure. There isn't alot od pressure but there is some. Then they polish and use the scrape thing and make your teeth WHITE. Like really white so you don't have to go and buy those Crest White Strips. And you've probably have them clip the wire off so thats not anything new. But my sister said that they'll probably have a little but of difficulty getting some of the brackets off. But its really the way that you don't want them to get your lip or like pull your tooth out.

Have you ever had a bracket removed/replaced? They kind of chisel each of them off. Doesn't really hurt unless your teeth are sensitive or your ortho is rough. Some of the glue comes off more easily than others. If you start to feel pain, ask them to place counter pressure behind the tooth they're pressing on (like a thumb).

For me it did not hurt at all. I felt really good after I got them off. Even if I did have any pain I didnt notice it because I was too busy looking at my beautiful smile and smiling all the time.
I think that they use some kind of plier tool but it's not like they yank them off...they just seem to pop off and you're good to go after they clean some of the extra dried cement.

They kinda pluck them off with plyer things. It doesnt hurt. It does feel really weird though since your used to the rough braces. Then they sand off the glue that keeps each bracket on. That doesnt hurt, but it kinda uncomfortable. Then they polish them and your good to go. You'll be rubbing your teeth with your tongue for a while though because your not used to nice smooth teeth.

I had braces a few years ago and my orthodontist just popped mine right off. I'm not sure the tool they used or anything. Maybe something like pliers... Didn't hurt too much. One tooth started bleeding, but that's it.

The bonded braces really hurt when they come off. With the banded braces you'll have soreness but not the pain of the bonded.

It's not going to hurt a bit when they take it off, they take em off the same way they put them on.

The removal is not painful at all. They kinda just loosen the glue and rip them off. It is the CLEANING off of the composite adhesive that is slightly painful and annoying.
