He just had his time, and now it's over. He played really well in 2002, winning Golden Shoe, and he has accomplished much in his career, but those times are over for him, he is overweight now, and he's just not what he once was, but that's no reason to criticise him, nothing can last forever.

wel, at first, b4 the wc started, i was like man, look at all these ppl talkin **** about ronaldo, hes awesome, but then when the wc started i watched all the brasil games and he played like fu**in sh** man, i could've played better than that, not bragging at all. he barely ran, i saw him sprint like once, and when ppl tried to pass it to him, instead of going to the ball he waited for it and the other team took it, and then he wouldnt chase after him, it was just pathetic, period.
and i know at least 1 persons gonna flame me for this, but u know its true

he is being very over-criticized!!! if he holds the all time top-scorer record in world cups obviously the man is good and we of all people can not criticize him because we cant even imagine even playing in the world cup! and defiantly not having a record!
