I was at work,on light duty answering phones when my wife called and told me to turn on the radio, that a plane had crashed into a building in N.Y. I tuned in just in time to hear the report of the second tower being hit, then the pentagon.

Mine isn't dramatic. My eldest son had called me when the first tower had been hit so I was in my living room watching the TV. Nothing could have prepared me for those towers coming down. It's one of the most devastating events in my 53 years.
