well im about to get a ipod and i trying to figure out how to put songs on it and im trying to download itunes but it seems to not work on my computer because it say you need a windows xp or 2000 and i have windows me can any one hlep me?

iTunes does not work with Windows ME. You need at the very least 2000 so upgrade your computer is the best answer. I personally find that iTunes works the best with Apple computers but since you have a Windows computer just upgrade your computer (to an XP would be the best solution)

I had the same problem when i first got my ipod. You must first by and upgrade kit which coasts round $100. After you install that you will be able to install the itunes and add your music from there. Good Luck

u have 2 download the itunes cd onto ur computer. the cd is included with the ipod. so when u get ur ipod u will have a cd that says itunes on it, and then u have 2 download it.

Your iPod would work but iTunes software won't, so you'd have to use Winamp or RealPlayer (or others) for music management.
And you have to initialize iPod first time under Windows 2000/XP - procedure outlined above won't work for 4G iPods.

most likely its not gonna work with windows millenium (its outdated alredy, like 3 generations old). you should upgrade your OS or find a different computer that you could use for itunes and song downloads.
