Israeli air raids kill 40 innocent civilians in Lebanon. By Alistair Lyon, rrespondent

BEIRUT - Israeli air strikes killed at least 40 innocent civilians in Lebanon and a Hizbollah rocket barrage into Israel killed three people on Friday in a worsening conflict that world powers disagree on how to halt.

One air strike hit a farm near Qaa, close to the Syrian border in the Bekaa Valley where workers, mostly Syrian Kurds, were loading plums and peaches on to trucks, local officials said. They said 33 people were killed and 20 wounded.

An Israeli army spokesman said air strikes in the area had targeted two buildings that military intelligence had showed were used by Hizbollah to store weapons.

But television footage showed bodies of what appeared to be farm workers lined up near the ruins of a small structure in fruit groves. Strewn nearby were fruit baskets. When Bush was contacted he said it is the American way.
The USA Government stated it is ok to kill civilians.

Israel and America are best friends, they are both trying to take over the world. and this part "An Israeli army spokesman said air strikes in the area had targeted two buildings that military intelligence had showed were used by Hizbollah to store weapons." Is just to cover their *** because they are intentionally killing off Lebanon's people its kind of like the whole excuse for the war in Iraq the whole "WMD"
scenario. The leaders of both countries should be charged with crimes against humanity and terrorism.

It may be that Israel is doing the horse whipping here.
A few years back the executive may have been ready and willing to go into Iran to fight “terrorism” but as things turned out in Afghanistan and Iraq they seemed to have second thoughts about a military invasion of Iran, Now Israel is launching our weapons technology at Lebanon’s Hez-boula which is apparently reliant on support from Iran/Syria in order to maintain a viable resistance.
This situation forces the administrations military engagements ever closer to the doorstep of Iran whether
the administration was planning to go there or not----- past, present, or future.
If we do allow ourselves to be forced into Iran there is no doubt that every measure will be made to take out Iran’s nuclear capability which is a direct threat to Israel but such an event is as, or perhaps even more, likely to further enrage the world community against Israel, England and the US as pacify it.

The US government did not state it's the American way, or it's OK to kill civilians, unless you can back that up, I will say your a liar, just like Hezbollah and probably condone terrorists. War is hell and people get killed, quit trying to blame Israel for everything, Hezbollah started it and I hope Israel destroys them, Syria should be horsewhipped for selling arms to them and backing a terrorist group, plus the stupid Lebanese people voted Hezbolla into office, that was real smart, what a bunch of bumb as*ses, They new they were a terrorists group. I have never seen such stupid people in my life. So now they can pay the price for electing them and starting the war with Israel.

The USA did not state it was OK to kill Civilians. What rubbish. The news media is always only half correct. Still, should Iran be horsewhipped for selling arms to Hizbullah???

Hizbullah members are also Civilians. They break international law by refusing to wear uniforms. Where is the outrage for the dead Israelis?

I think we are doing the right thing. You have a country over there that is allowing people to fire rockets from their terrorist into civilian areas. Why are people trying to focus on Israel, they are just responding to terrorism, they are starting a fight, they are finishing it. if someone attacked you, you would respond and that is all they are doing.

When the cowardly A-rabs make their own people into human shields, then launch rockets, who is to blame when there are civilian deaths. Grow up.

Nope, I encourage it. Civillians die in war, it happens. But of course the media only focuses on the innocent that get killed to gain sympathy. It's war and bad sh*t happens.

yes, but look back further, we've done that with so many corrupt governments like ourselves, it's sad. they either turn on America or use the weapons to destroy their own people. weapons trading should be stopped, it would totally level the playing field
