lockers can be a lot of fun....but a big mess if you let them be. I'm going to give you tips that will help both your locker and your bookbag if you have one. put all of your notebooks in 3 ring binders with pockets like a folder. this helps cut down on wear and tear of notebooks plus gives you extra space to put assignments and handouts so that they won't end up in the bottom of your locker. my advice is to get each one a different color and label them so you can tell which notebook you need for each class. next, put the book beside of its notebook. this helps you hurry and grab that book and notebook so you're not late. get a magnetic pencil holder and put it in the locker. keep a few extra pens and pencils in there incase you need one. if your locker has a coat hook, you can find little hanging cases with pouches and a mirror to hang on it. you can put cd, floppy disk, or anything else you need a place for in those. you can also buy a locker shelf at probably walmart, but i'm not sure if you're locker would be too small for it. avoid stacking your books on each other if at all possible. this will make it harder to get your books out when you need them. don't put trash in your locker. if you have a empty pop bottle, hold on to it til you can get to a trash can. and last but not least, set a side a day about once a week to get any papers or trash that has somehow got in your locker. hope this helps and good luck!
ps. have fun with it...use magnetic pic frames to hang pics up! :D

locker shelves that can be purchased at target, office depot and wal-mart can help. or buy plastic or metal bins and stack them on top of each other (the open part facing the locker door). use 3M tape to stick semi heavy items to the inside door or the walls of the locker (pencil boxes, mirror).
you can label or mentally label each shelf and ONLY put what is meant to be stored on that shelf. (ex: top shelf - light stuff: post-it notes, supplies, personal items - brush, hand sanitizer, cell phone, lunch, etc.; middle shelf - books, binders; third shelf: extra paper; fourth shelf: room for your jacket/backpack). definitely keep a plastic grocery bag hidden in there to clean out junk when needed.
of course your upper shelves need to be small enough, so you have enough room on the bottom for your backpack.

You can get removable locker shelves at stores like Wal-Mart or Target. That helped me to keep mine better organized.

Minimize what you keep in there. You will also need to stay on top of it and clean it out every night.
