I like them. I used to love them. The new album though has WAY too much long drawn out music. It's not even that great of music or at least it's not exciting enough to make me want to keep listening. It's a slow, easy to play, boring jam at points.
I've always respected their intelligent writing but they need to get back to the song structuring they had on Undertow and Anema. The songs are just too long now so I lose interest half way through. There are only 4 songs on the new album that I can say I really like. 4 songs won't keep me happy until the next one.

Absolutely!!!! They are my favorite band and as the previous posts say if you haven't seen them live it is a MUST! The visual aspect they bring to a show is just incredible. In case anyone would like to know when they're playing, here's the tour date list:

TOOL is awesome and if you havent seen them live,then you havent been to a real concert,most amazing live show i have ever been to.....
