would you rather be in a committed relationship? My friend said that you can be alone and lonely or married an miserable. What's your take? I need the why.

I happen to be happy and single, but am looking for a committed relationship. I have been in a lot of bad ones as well. Do you think that has something to do with his attitude?

I enjoy being single. I like being able to make my own decisions and move wherever I want without thinking of someone else. Perhaps a bit selfish but I am not ready to settle down yet. There are wonderful things that you can do when your single and wonderful thigns you can do when married. Why rush it? Everything will happen in time, and if it doesn't then you just make do with what you have.

I prefer being in a committed relationship. You always have someone there to hold you and reassure you about life. Then again if you make the wrong decision its easy to escape that person and find a new loving relationship. Being single isn't very hard either. It only gets hard when you're older and you lose your confidence about your skills to attract a person.

I would rather be in a commited relationship than single. I'd rather share my time with someone that i love. If im miserable then i would just end it, i wouldnt stay in it just to be in a relationship.

It really depends on your attitude, I know single people that are happy and I am married and happy. I love having a family, I need all of the chaos that comes with family life, some people need more solitude.

I think your friend needs to get over sh*t and stop raining on everyone else's parade.
I would definitely prefer a committed relationship. I wouldn't be miserable while I'm married and if I was, I wouldn't be married anymore.

If you are in a committed relationship with the right person, you will be happy. They will be your best friend and you don't have to ask for permission to do anything.

i think getting married and let anything happen is better than being single and lonely coz once a single get old and once he realizes hes lonely itll be too late for him to get married but if you are married and if its miserable you can alsways think of a divorce.

Id rather be in a committed relationship...Im gay and single right now and it sucks...Ive tried everything to help meet guys...with no results...I would probably be more happier if I had someone there to talk to and care about...

I yearn for a relationship sometimes, but then i remember that I'm not in the right situation in my life to have one and to make it work. So, it depends on the timing and your mental state.
