Okay the first person says college station near Houstan. So I have another question how far from one to the other?

The main college is in College Station, but there are other campuses in the state (Kingsville, Corpus Christi, Canyon, Laredo, Texarkana, etc)

College Station is right. We went there last fall for the Chemistry Open House (kind of like a college science fair) and it's in the middle of nowhere. It takes about an hour and a half to drive from Austin. I'm guessing it would be about the same from Houston. There's no interstate, just four- (and sometimes, two-) lane country roads.
