how much makeup should a 13 year old be able to wear?

If you are starting to wear make-up, go with some light eyeshadows. You could probably wear a little blush and lipgloss, too. If you really want to change your look, try on some mascara or eyeliner. Just don't wear any foundation or concealer yet, but everything else is open to you!

Well they should be able to wear as much as they want depending on why they want to wear it. If she's trying to pick up guys then you need to have a talk with her and limit her makeup use until she's older and you think she's understands what having that kind of relationship is about.

If she just wants to do it for fun or something harmless then I don't know I think I'd let her. But you should keep an eye on her make sure she knows what to do if some strange person starts following her, you know someone that might want to kidnap her. Really though if that's the problem, if you're worried about some old man think she's hot then I have to say this. If she's 13 and looks 13 and some old man is thinking she's hot, most likely I would think it wouldn't be her makeup that entices him.

Hey, when i was 13, i used cosmetic correction make up, because i had acne mark's, ( concealer ) and basically lipgloss.
I think it's really up to the individual and the parent, I just don't really agree with a full face of make up at 13, Maybe a lipgloss, a moisturising foundation, Which is not anyting like real foundation , and some clear or black mascara,
but nothing is more beautiful then natural skin, Maybe try using some nice face masks and face creams so your skin is naturally glowing

Well I'm 13 and if I'm going to a school dance or something I wear foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeshadow, and lip gloss. I would wear eyeliner but I'm not allowed to, so if you are I would recommend wearing very little or else you'll look weird. Don't wear really bright colours of eyeshadow or else you look like you're from the circus. But if I'm just going on an errand or something I just wear concealer and lip gloss.

Not too much! I've seen 13 year olds wearing so much makeup, they look like prostitutes or something! Then they wonder why they're all getting pregnant so young! I say they should wear:

Mascara(not too much)
Lip Gloss
Moisturizer

My opinion is that a 13 year old should be able to wear some lip stick when going to an event but no more than that. Prolong growing up as long as you can and maybe they will grow up to not have to wear make-up. What a pain!

I never wore makeup until I was 16... That said, I wish I could've. I think just eyeshadow and lips. Nothing too heavy or bright. Using the right face wash helps you not to need makeup to cover anything. The natural look is in now, play with it.

I'm 13 and i only wear mascara and lip gloss, maybe a little cover up if necessary. i only wear makeup every once in a great while though, i don't want people to only know my made up face!!!

When i was 13 i just used cute lip gloss and eye shimmer!
1.) Buy LIP SMACKERS JUICE GLOSS then apply a small amount.
2.) Buy Maybelline ROLL ON SHIMMER SHADOW then just apply some to your eye lids and your all set.
Trust me you'll look great and not to trashy either.
P.S Don't wear black eyeliner until your 14-ish. Again Trashy.
