Hi, I am a Spiritualist medium, and what I have found is that many people don't understand the difference between a psychic and a medium. A psychic will tell you things about your life, where you have been, what is going on around you and possibly your future. They do this by blending with your aura/energy. A mediums job is to offer evidence of spirit survival, not any so-called "fortune telling", this they do by blending with the spirit world. Though a medium is aso able to work on a psychic level, a psychic is not always able to work on a mediumistic level.

We do not work with the devil, in fact the devil is not recognised within the Spiritualist moventment. Neither is it "evil" in any way. I have seen a lot of love and comfort come through spirit communication.

Unfortunately there are a lot of charlatans out there, and you do need to be careful, therefore I do advise that you contact one via a Spiritualist Church, either go along to a service, or give them a ring and ask for their recommendations. If you decide to visit one, please go along with an open mind. If the reading isn't great, it doesn't necessarily mean the medium or psychic is a con artist, it may just mean the energies are not right for that day. If the reading does not offer any evidence in any way, then either the medium shouldn't charge or they offer you another sitting at a later date.

Hope that helps in some way.

II have visited several - with being from Blackpool. There are fairs and readings are very cheap at only 5 pounds. I know that if you go and see a medium then they will record your reading and charge you from between 15-30 pounds.

I would say go with an open mind and do not tell them anything about you a good medium will always say 'Never feed the medium!

Maybe you could visit a church first? It is free and it will give you an idea. Although it is a very different experience from having a reading one on one.

In my own personal experience I have seen good and really good. Some I have seen concentrate on what happened in the past, what is coming up for you and others may contact relatives/people that you know that have past over. If you are worried/anxious you will have the chance to ask questions during the reading and a good medium will pick up on this.

Try and go to someone who has been recommended to you…word of mouth.

I hope you enjoy the experience.

Good luck

I tried to contact a couple of dead people, (friend and mum) through several mediums, but none of them were any good and now I know that they only contact demons anyway. Stay away from them, it's evil.

yes! When I got there it said on the door.
CLOSED DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES LOL. Joking apart there are a lot of genuine mediums and spiritualists who are very willing to help you and lead you on the right path, but there are also a lot of money grabbers who want block bookings and money up front before they talk to you. Be careful.

my friend swears on a lady called susan leybourn.ive been to see her and she told me f all.the best thing she came out with was she could see me with highlights in my hair.dont know if it was her opinion or a vision of the future.ive seen a few.most were rubbish.alot of what they say is predicting the future but partly free will too.either way if you feel like you need to see one to get some sort of answers then paying them even if they are a con will maybe make you feel better so its sort of worth it

yes, found it upsetting, seemed to know personal details about family history / death etc. Whether just general facts or not seemed to hit a raw nerve, never been back, but give it a go, someone from the other side might say 'hello'
