Little Johnny was at the playground one day with his friend Chuck. They were swinging on the swings when a little girl about there same age approched them and offered them an animal cracker. The little girl with her already red cheeks said hesitantly " yes, i'd love to" and then the three little ones begun spinning round and round, until it seemd for them, forever. The night came and with it the time for each one to go to his home. The girl was very happy because she had finnaly encountered some real friends, ones that didn't care about her secret, the only ones who didn't ask her what was wrong. they promised each other to come back at the same place the same day, tommorow and went happily back home. Johnny said to Chuck if he wanted to sleepover at his place and play a together the videogame that his dad had bought him a couple of days ago.They agreed and spent the night together playing and just before they went to bed Chuck asked him if he was at all frightened by the little girl's scar.But then with a firm voice and a mean grin Johhny replied " Which friend ?" " That ugly girl we foold today ? She is not our friend she is our mascot and i have a plan with her, a plan which will make us popular in my big brother's group" " But...." said hopelesly Chuck.
the next day all of Johnny's big brother's buddies and Chuck were waiting in the park for the " freak " to show up. Finnaly when she arrived they all remaind astonished and some of them frightened by the imense scar on the girls' face. Johnny said " here it is the little BEAST ! I've told you she was horrible !!"Tears begun to roll the little girl's cheeck and once again she felt that sorrow that she has carried for years... her mark on her face. All of those present there begun to laugh at her, some of them to call her names. She tried to run away but they didn't let her. After a short period of time they got bored and went off still laughing...
The girl remained there sitting in a swing with her soul souring.
All of a sudden she felt like the swing was moving and then she saw Chuck pushing her swing... He was the only one who remained near her. He told her in soft voice " Do you want to ride this swing besides me to the clouds and back, my dearest FRIEND ? "
