dont feel pressured, since u mention a "kid", u should consider that u are old enough? but i hav 2 giv it 2 u, u are showing responsibility by asking about contraceptives. a condom is very effective, if u dont want to take the pill. depending on ur country u can get a emergency contraceptive if the condom breaks without a script (if u live in the USA, u need a script - u can get from the GP) with a new and improved formula u can take up to something like 5 days afterwards. else just double up on the condom. hope u make the right decision though because STDs and HIV is real, pregnncy could be the least of ur problems.

Tell this child to wait until they are old enough to understand that sex is a big responsibility and VIrginity is a 1 shot deal.
It is the 1 gift that they gave give and NEVER get it back. So therefore it should be saved for someone special. Not just so they can say they got laid.....
That's what wrong with lids today, to damn worried about fitting in and getting laid just so they can say they have.WHY?????
They dont understand or even know what they are doing anyway and besides, we should be encouraging our children to stand out and be different.
Virginity is a sacred thing, how fantastic would it be to actually STILL have something that EVERYBODY does not and can NEVER get back.
That's what these kids should be bragging about...

First things first. How old are you? If you're under 18 you shouldn't be thinking about it right now. But teens will be teens so it's on your because all of your friends are doing it right?
So here's what you do...
Step 1. Put that boy neutral. Tell him you're not comfortable talking about sex now. If he respects you he'll back off, if he continues to pressure you then he's looking for a notch in his bedpost (you don't want that).
Step 2. Take a look at him... Does he talk to you about anything else besides sex? (yes continue reading, No Get away from him really fast).
Does he listen to you? (yes continue reading, No Get away from him really fast).
There's more but I don't want to bore you.

Wait for marriage... You sound way too young to mess your life up. Sex is way too complicated and if your young as I think -do you really want to end up pregnant and be a mom at your age? You will lose your friends, not graduate, and probably have more babies... Don't fall into it. Stay in school, use your brains and know that even the first time experience can get you pregnant. Take care and take the advice, please......

dont do it. this may not seem like much now, but someday you will look back and wish you would have waited to do it with someone you love and really care about. i can tell from the language you use that 'this kid' does not mean all that much to you. save yourself for the best, which is what you deserve.

unless your already married to him don't have sex. Wouldnt you like your future husband to have waited for your wedding night to lose his virginity, real men appriciate it when a girl keeps her legs closed. so please dont't have sex the best way to prevent pregnecy and stds is to not have sex in the first place.
