-lets take 6 people who dont know each other and put them in 6 different locations in the concrete jungle of New York
-each has a map and money for transportation and are told that 5 other people are looking for you, plus they are to meet in one place
-using their brains, logic and common sense, how will they find each other?

This is hard i. would say that they would meet in the very center of new york.

They will all go to that place. Each make a sign to wear saying - looking for *****. By seeing the signs on each other, they would come together.

Hail a cab and tell them to go to that "One Place" which you have not disclosed ... but I am assuming you told each of the six people their destination rendevou place.
