whats happened to the link on the homepage for the news,it seems to have dissapeared
any ideas?

it only applies to yahoo uk+ireland

Huh?
I'm guessing you're talking about Yahoo's homepage? When I go there, I see towards the top of the screen: (from left to right) 360, Horoscopes, Music, (from top to bottom) My Yahoo, and then News.
Add a comment to your question to help us know what homepage you're talking about...
Update: Ah... yes, I see what you're talking about now. When I go to the News link, it says "Document not found": http://uk.yahoo.com/r/nw/tn I think Yahoo UK is having problems. Check back in a little bit.
