Take the time off ang enjoy it. Don't feel bad that your husband is the only one working because in about two months you will know who is doing the REAL work. Good luck and congrats!

I was in the same boat. I'm a substitute teacher, and when school let out for the summer this year I was seven months pregnant with my first child. Personally, I took the time off to focus on getting the rest of my life in order and ready for my baby. Like you, my husband made enough that I didn't need the income. It was strange not working, but often it is the best choice. If it is your first pregnancy, the time off will be extremely helpful as there is an extensive list of things to do and prepare.
If you feel that you should get a job, be sure to be completely honest with them about your situation. Tell them that you are having a baby in four months (keep in mind that you will be nearly seven months pregnant by the time you get back from vacation) so you're only looking for something temporary. If you go through a temp agency, you'd be surprised how many places are looking for temporary workers.
However, don't guilt yourself into going back. Be sure to discuss this with your husband. If you and he decide it's alright for you to stay at home, by all means stay if you like. Be sure that whatever decision you reach is alright with both him and especially you.
Good luck!

Congratulations! Take a deep breath and calm down. Your baby feels the stress. Talk to your husband about what he thinks about you getting another part-time job. If he says it's up to you then decide why you would need a part-time job. If you're not hurting for extra cash then enjoy your pregnancy and prepare for your baby's arrival. If you would like to keep busy after the baby is born (not like you won't be busy), wait until you feel your baby is old enough to be cared for by someone else. Then you can look for a job that suits your needs. Good luck with the baby!

If you don't need the extra money then stay home and relax and keep up with the housework which itself is a job of its own. Just talk it over with your husband and let him know how you feel. Some places will hire pregnant people for part time, but honestly just don't feel bad, your pregnant and you won't be pregnant forever, I am sure your husband will understand you not working till after the baby is born whenever you are ready. Good luck.

Sorry about your job, do you still get unemployment insurance and are you able to go on maternity leave? Don't feel guilty about your husband working - talk to him about it. You might be able to pick up part-time work that doesn't tax you physically at this point. If you two were really smart, you would nix the vacation and just look forward to baby. Congrats!

Don't feel guilty about not working. Take the time to get everything done around the house before the baby comes. Once the baby comes it'll be a while before you get a chance to do anything.

If you don't need the extra money, just spend the time getting the house ready for baby. I am 5 months and just quit my job and I will have everything ready for when my baby is born

If you don't "need" that extra money then stay home & enjoy your pregnancy! You could seek other employment but your chances are rather slim of being hired due to your condition. Good luck!

What type of work do you do? You could always try a temp. agency (Kelly, AccounTemps, etc.) Not sure how much you earned at your last job, but most clerical (temp.) jobs pay about $10 per hour (on average), so at least it would be SOME money coming in! :)
