Woman are only able to get pregnant for about 3-5 days per monthly cycle. You need to talk with your Doctor to figure out your ovulation schedule and try to hump like rabbits on those days specifically! Also make sure he doesn't spank it too much on the off days so he builds up a nice big load. That means no porn or stripbars. The more sperm you can cram in there the better your chances. Also if both of you reach climax it will up your odds by at least 15%.

If you wanted to be a REAL FREAK you could get a thermometer and check your vaginal temperature during the ovulation cycle to know the exact best times. But quite frankly froma guys point of view, that is such a turn off. He may have trouble performing if you are a freak like that.

Have sex in a man-on-top position. In such a position the cervix retains sperm (rather than letting it drip out) and increases the chance that some of it will reach the egg.

It's also a good idea for you to have an orgasm around the same time as/shortly after he does. The contractions will push sperm through the cervix, again increasing the odds of conception.

Of course, none of this advice will do any good if you're not ovulating at the time. Ovulation generally occurs 14 days before the period starts, but your mileage may vary. There are a number of ovulation testers that you can get otc; it's worth it to try one.

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive. My Doctor recommended it to me and after 1 year of trying I got the book. It worked the very next month. It turns out that my timing was wrong due to mis-information. I hope it helps you, too! It's not only about getting pregnant. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

First, learn NFP, ussually workshops are available from a Catholic church, you can probably just contact a trainer though in your case (you're looking for a rise in your morning temperature and clear stretchy discharge). Then, the husband should not masturbate, and you should only have sex during your fertile period. It helps if you have an orgasm AFTER him, it help to "suck" the semen up. Don't blush, it's the truth. Then put your legs in the air for 15 or so minutes. You'll probably lose less semen if you do missionary position with you but on a pillow.

A couple of things, aside from fertiliaty drugs. Him drinking more caffine, and you drinking less. Also, the healthier both of you are, the better the chance, whether that means not smoking or gaining or losing weight. Start taking prenatal vitamins. You can also plot your ovulation using an ovulation predictor that you can get in the same area of drugs stores at pregnancy tests!

Here are some things I've heard:

Make sure your husband doesn't masturbate, because it will lower his sperm count. You should try to have sex as much as possible when you're ovulating. If still nothing works, you can both go get yourself checked to make sure neither of you is infertile. If there are problems, you can always use fertility drugs, but try to avoid them.

Learn to understand your cycle and when you're most fertile. Taking Charge of Your Fertility is a good book. And you can get tons of information and read others' experiences at sites like ivillage.com and babycenter.com

Also ovulation predictor kits have always worked great for me.

Use ovulation prediction tests to pinpoint ovulation. I also recommend charting your temps to help pinpoint. Or just have sex every other day, you'll eventually get pregnant! There are supplements u can take to increase fertility, but u'll need to talk to ur doc about that.

I agree with "JACHOOZ".

In addition to what she said, you've got to be healthy! Make sure you AND your husband are eating a good diet.

If you can, eat organic foods & beverages, the hormones in the "normal" foods sometimes interfere with fertility especially beef and milk.

I can introduce you to my friend Kerry.
He seems to be able to deliver a bun just by breathing in the general vicinity of a woman. He's got Super Sperm or something.

Ask your other half and I'll drop Kerry a line for you. :)
