Beautiful is innocently achieved by virtue of being . However, being sexy needs exercise and a long time in front of mirror posing out. So easier is to be beautiful and tougher is being sexy.

Sexy. You don't have to be a beautiful person to be sexy. There are things that you do or a way you carry yourself to be sexy. Plus beauty can fade away...you can always keep sexy around if you have it in you.

I prefer "beautiful". It means so much in terms of personality, look, values, and your entire essence. "Sexy" is always associated with physical attraction and I find it very offending if the term isn't used in good faith.
