Liszt composed some of the most difficult piano pieces ever composed.. Great stuff though.

It depends which version of it. I'm assuming you're referring to the second version of his Paganini etude (i.e. the famous one). It's not as hard as the other ones. The first version of this etude is considerably harder. Then there's the Grand Bravura Fantasy on La Campanella, which I have yet to hear a live recording of. Considered to be one of the most challenging pieces ever written (that actually still sounds like music).
