Why dont you care about people that you dont know? Dont you realize that you can save someones life by showing them that you care.
What is this world comming too.
Wouldn't you want to help someone out if they were down in the dumps, or thinking about killing themselves?

Why only females? EVERYONE, male or female should care. Caring and compassion aren't female traits -- they're HUMAN traits. Ease off on the stereotyping. Not all women are nurturers; not all nurturers are women.
As a veteran of the internet for 15 years, I've had a lot of random men approach me and want me to "help them out". Huh, not what I want, not what I need. Why should I help out some random person that I don't know or care about? Just because I'm female? You're barking up the wrong tree, dude. I help out people when and where I want to, but not all the time.
I don't help others just because I'm female, either. I have my own stuff going on in my life, and I'm not about to drop everything anytime someone needs help. I'd gladly help my husband or my colleagues and students, but even then, I judge whether they really need help or if they're just being lazy. If they're being lazy, I tell them and expect them to solve their problems themselves.
Sometimes people who are just down in the dumps are experiencing something deep and traumatic; sometimes it's just a passing mood. Suicide threats on the other hand, are a valid call for help. But, I take care of myself emotionally and expect others to, also. And I also don't caretake people. I stand on my own two feet emotionally, and so should others. Yes we all need a helping hand every now and then, but 99 times out of 100 you can solve it yourself, or the problem will pass.
I don't like the implication that "women don't care enough, oh my god, what's the world coming to". I don't like how you leave men out of the equation. We are all equally responsible for caring for ourselves, others and the earth, and gender does not matter.

I am with you 100% on this question. random acts of kindness can change the world.
I was at a cafe the other day and I watched a women completely berate a waitress. She was almost in tears.... Being rude to people you don't know is disgusting. I always try to have a smile and a kind word, even if I'm not feeling so great.
It's sandbox philosophy.... Treat People the way you want to be Treated......

if i don't know you than what is there to care about?
i love to help ppl out but not really caring about the person but the problem the person have.and i doubt that some total stranger is gonna wanna live for someone they don't even know or care about.

WE ARE ALL TO BLAME AT SOME POINT BUT PEROSNALLY MYSELF I WOULD HELP ANYONE OUT IN ANY SITUATION THAT I CAN BE OFF HELP TO THEM,,, IM FEMALE .. I think we should be kind to everyone. Remember the golden rule...Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. There is never a need to be disrespectful or mean to a stranger.

why are you bashing women??? i am not like that at in fact i'm always trying to help others and counsel them... so don't you dare go about making people think we are bad people. unless you know all teh ladies in teh world.. which i don't think you do.
