Every religion talks abt peace, loving others etc. But so many people die because of religion. How do the killers justify their actions? They kill, and in the name of their religion. Even their religious leaders do not speak out to the extent they should. Why?

You can claim to be religious but that doesn't make you religious. You can claim to do something in the name of Allah, YHWH, Budda or anyone else, but that doesn't mean it is the intent of that religion.
The killers you speak of are self delusional. They are the kind of people who think because they go to McDonald's they are a hamburger.

I don't agree with ur question
I am Hindu and i don't know any war initiated by Hindu Kings
In India there are other religions like Jain,Bauddha,Sikh and these religion's people have also never attacked for religion
If u look carefully with unbiased heart in the history u will find that only Muslim ( Islam ) and Christans have started the wars for religions and thats why they have spread all over the world .
In Hindu religion we believe that a person is born as Hindu he can not be converted to become Hindu so there is no question of war there
So what i say is ur question is wrong

Nobody talks about it because they think they would be targeted. It's true all religions talk about peace. But the people who preach religion don't care about it. Nowadays religion is getting too much complicated. Every person should respect the other religions. That's the only solution. Earning respect is not that easy.

I agree with GKD.
The Christians are trying hard to get better at it. Now they are OVER sensitive and TOO AFRAID to be seen as a racist, so they are MORE racist to there OWN. Like Christians not allowing Christian children to pray in public schools, but letting Muslims pray in American PUBLIC Schools. Not fair. They try too hard to make other religions and races like them. Actually that's just true for almost all caucasions in Europe and America and Canada.
I would also like to add that Jews also have not STARTED any wars. They have participated in wars only as an act of self defense, but have never started any.

I believe that if we all treat each other how we would like to be treated ourselves, we would be living a more peaceful existence. If we don't like somebody, let them be. Religion and Politics have started more wars in this world. Look at the middle east. Wars solve nothing and create much heartache and destruction. SO JUST STOP!!

Good question. Religion has killed more people in wars than any other reason real or not. All sides claim that God is behind them as well.
I say that ALL religions have nothing to do with God for the simple reason that God does not take sides.

If you take out ISLAM, there is only "insanity" left in this world to make peace. your wives, daughters, sisters, kids won't be safe anymore. so, Islam protects humanity and wages war against evil. if no other religion does that, it is guilty of NOT supporting peace on earth.
